Installation and Delivery Terms
- All installation works are carried out by qualified contractors. Installation fees include third-party liability insurance of HK$20,000,000 and labour insurance.
- To avoid unnecessary installation accidents and disputes, customers are advised to carefully review and understand the installation and insurance arrangements.
- Customers purchasing under the “Trade-in Scheme” may opt for the free statutory removal service for the collection of regulated electrical appliances of the same type.
- In emergencies and upon customer request, AUPU may arrange upgraded removal service at an additional charge.
- If on-site inspection is required, a site inspection fee of HK$180 will be charged by the technician. The inspection time will be arranged after the technician contacts the customer.
- Due to scheduling arrangements, the site inspection fee of HK$180 is non-refundable once an order has been placed.
- In the event of sudden weather changes, typhoons, thunderstorms, black rainstorm or red rainstorm warnings, installation and delivery services will be postponed. Customers are kindly requested to understand and bear with any inconvenience.

Remarks
- The above installation fee table is handled by AUPU’s designated contractor.
- If delivery and/or installation are arranged by other agents or contractors, fees may differ. Please contact AUPU for details.
- Customers should state any installation preferences or special requests during the site inspection, where applicable, or before installation.
- Customers may request that installation details be listed on the invoice.
- Once goods are signed for, AUPU or the contractor is only responsible for the terms stated and acknowledged before signing; no other responsibility shall be assumed.
- Any person supervising receipt at the installation site, including the customer or any other person, shall be deemed an authorised recipient and to be acting on behalf of the customer.
- All installation works are undertaken and warranted by the designated contractor. Please retain the installation receipt.
- Information and prices are subject to change without prior notice. The final installation fee shall be based on the last quotation.
- Any item not listed in the fee table shall be quoted separately with the installation technician.
- Where the installation site presents special conditions that increase installation difficulty or may create hazards, additional charges may apply.
- If the customer requires the technician to remove or dispose of an old unit, installation service must be purchased first before such service can be arranged.
- Customers should discuss and agree on a feasible solution with the installation technician before work begins.
- Charges shall be determined by the customer and the technician based on the actual site conditions. No complaint, claim, or refusal of payment will be accepted after completion of the work.
- To avoid disputes, AUPU recommends site inspection before purchase.
- The above prices exclude outlying islands, Tung Chung, Ma Wan and Discovery Bay.
- For installation services in outlying islands, Tung Chung, Ma Wan and Discovery Bay, an additional remote area charge applies.
- If the product cannot be moved directly from the floor to the installation position and must be lifted up or down by more than ten inches, or moved over obstacles such as toilets or cabinets higher than ten inches, an additional charge will apply.
- The final installation date and time are subject to confirmation by the engineering team and/or the installation technician.
- If the installation site requires adjustments for safety reasons or special conditions, the installation arrangement will be quoted separately based on actual circumstances.
